About the role
Canadian Blood Services is looking for a Temporary full-time Clerk - London to join our dynamic Collections Operations team.
The Collections Operations team is responsible for supporting Collections activities. In this role, you will be responsible for clerical and administrative activities while following operational procedures and practice good judgement in the performance of job responsibilities.
Formula for success
- Drawing from your experience in record management, you will maintain/file distribute controlled documents.
- Manage the distribution of mail as required.
- Leveraging your excellent organizational skills, you will coordinate and manage incoming and outgoing Collections equipment from fixed and mobile sites.
- Utilizing your organizing skills you will be booking platelet donor appointments based on existing schedule.
- Provide additional support to your team as needed during absences.
- Performs other department related tasks and duties as assigned.
Desired education and skills
- Completion of grade 12; high school diploma.
- A minimum of 2 years relevant administrative experience.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office; Excel, Word and Outlook.
