Please note this role will work in a hybrid environment. The successful candidate must be located near a Canadian Blood Services site and will be working a mixture of on-site and off-site work based on the parameters for our operations to meet the needs of our donors, our staff and our communities. Currently, employees are expected to have an in-person presence for at least 40% of their work time. This requirement may vary depending upon circumstances.

About the role
Canadian Blood Services is looking for a Regular Full-time Coordinator, Integration and Analytics to join our dynamic Enterprise Facilities team.

 

The Enterprise Facilities team leads strategic and capital planning, aligning real estate with business goals and overseeing facilities for efficiency, compliance, and risk management.

 

In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating the development, implementation, monitoring and analysis of the reporting systems for the Facilities Management and Business Integration (SFM&BI) department. You will coordinate the collection of data needed to build dashboards and reporting and analysis of the data. You will consult and work with key stakeholders to ensure that support is provided with tracking of ops capital projects (MPSO/ePMO) and Life Safety Program Support.


Formula for success

  • Utilizing your strong analytical skills, you will prepare data analysis on key performance measures, relationships of measures and results, consistency of data and performance trends.
  • You will be responsible for assisting in weekly/monthly/annual Key Performance Indictor analysis.
  • Using your strong attention to detail and adherence to timelines, you will coordinate, collect, track, and report on Ops Capital Project list pertaining to scope, budget, deliverables, risks, issues, & decisions. 
  • You will collect and report survey results for work orders feedback and for stakeholder surveys for engagement and continuous improvement.
  • You will ensure facilities department content on Connect Pages is reviewed and updated regularly.
  • Focusing on your ability to interpret business needs and develop integrated, creative solutions, you will work closely with project teams and clients to develop and maintain SharePoint related infrastructure, ensuring the content is aligned with the organization’s strategy, and proper organization of data. 
  • Leveraging your excellent organizational and prioritization skills, you will provide program and customer support for the SFMBI department and stakeholders; prepare correspondence and various documents such as reports, presentations, meeting agendas and minutes by gathering, compiling, organizing, and formatting information and data in accordance with standards, policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements to support the work of the unit. 
  • Drawing on your commitment to customer service and excellent interpersonal skills, you will provide administrative support to OH&S and Associate – Performance, Analytics and Compliance team to ensure compliance with the Fire Safety Program. 
  • You will perform other related duties as required. 

 

Desired education and skills

  • Completion of post-secondary level education in a relevant discipline from a recognized academic institution, and/or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • You will be required to have a minimum of three years’ related experience including knowledge of data/report design.
  • Preferably you will have previous experience/exposure working within a GMP environment. 
  • Extensive knowledge of data analysis, performance measurement, trend reporting, with experience conducting data analytics
  • Extensive knowledge of database management, Excel, MS Word, PowerPoint, web-based technology, Power BI, AutoCAD.
  • Experience with Teams, SharePoint, Planner, SAP, Forms will be considered an asset.  
  • Excellent content creation and writing skills.
  • Proven ability to present reports and data clearly to internal and external stakeholders.

  • This role will work in a hybrid environment with requirements to be onsite at Canadian Blood Services location 40% of the time/ 2 days of the week, this requirement may vary depending upon circumstances.
  • You will be required to travel to a Canadian Blood Services site twice per year for team meetings, or as required.
