About the role

 

Canadian Blood Services is looking for a Regular Full-Time Analyst, SAP Technical Systems III Stem Cell & CRM Solutions to join our dynamic External Customer Experience team. The work of an Analyst, SAP Technical Systems III Stem Cell & CRM Solutions is integral to Canadian Blood Services’ role as Canada’s Lifeline. 

 

In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the use of SAP within Canadian Blood Services (CBS).  This includes supporting SAP end users, using SAP information to conduct analysis and resolve user-related issues, modifying existing functionality and adding new capabilities.

 

Key responsibilities include:

 

  • Provides functional support to users including problem resolution, corrective action, testing and documentation that arise in the course of supporting users.
  • Assesses client requirements, determines possible solutions and, working with SAP Functional Support team, plans SAP development.
  • Responsible for making configuration changes to accommodate changing business needs and provides additional functionality in line with agreed-to priorities.
  • Provides input to, and maintains the SAP configuration, master data and reports.
  • Ensures alignment with changes to CBS policies, procedures, and practices, and to legislation and regulations.
  • Responsible for the appropriate testing, documenting, communicating, and training of the changes made.
  • Completes testing and documentation.
  • Understands and complies with CBS Information Systems and regulatory standards.

 

Qualifications: 

 

  • Four years of SAP experience, Basis, ABAP, Functional. 
  • At least two years’ experience with configuration using IMG.
  • At least 4 years of experience in SAP ABAP programming, Object oriented programming in SAP CRM area.
  • Strong experience in developing ABAP related custom applications, enhancing standard SAP applications.
  • Post-secondary level education in a relevant discipline from a recognized academic institution, preferably a College Diploma or University Degree in Business or Computer Science.
  • Working ability with Microsoft software suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and MS. Project.

 

Required skills:

 

  • Ability to conduct business professionally and develop strong working relationships with clients.
  • Ability to translate user requirements to delivered solutions including elements to be delivered by the Functional Support Group. 
  • Excellent leadership and coaching skills.
  • Experience on project managed projects.
  • Excellent problem analysis, planning and organizational skills.
  • Effective interpersonal communication and writing skills and the ability to work in a team environment.
