About the role
Canadian Blood Services is looking for a Regular full-time Lead, Digital Experience Delivery to join our dynamic Integrated Marketing team.
Reporting to the Manager, Digital Experience Delivery, the Lead, Digital Experience Delivery is responsible for leading the end-to-end execution of digital experience initiatives across Canadian Blood Services’ public-facing digital channels, translating approved strategies and product requirements into high-quality digital experiences.
The role focuses on operationalizing initiatives ranging from campaign-driven experiences to product and feature enhancements, ensuring work is effectively structured, coordinated and delivered across cross-functional teams. The Lead defines how initiatives move from concept to launch, establishing appropriate delivery approaches, sequencing, and coordination across Product, UX, Content, Development, Marketing, Analytics and external partners.
Working as a connector between strategy and execution, the role translates requirements into actionable delivery plans, identifies gaps or dependencies, and ensures all components are in place for successful implementation. The role is accountable for driving progress across multiple concurrent initiatives, proactively managing risks, removing blockers, and maintaining stakeholder alignment.

- Leveraging your strategic and creative skills, you will drive successful delivery of digital experience initiatives across public-facing channels by aligning execution with strategic objectives, orchestrating cross-functional inputs, and ensuring high-quality, end-to-end outcomes that enhance user experience and business impact.
- Drawing from your collaborative experience, you will partner with cross-functional teams and external partners to coordinate delivery across multiple initiatives, fostering alignment on priorities and timelines while collectively identifying and resolving risks and dependencies to achieve shared, high-impact outcomes.
- You will facilitate collaborative planning and delivery by supporting teams in developing clear plans, establishing effective communication and governance practices, and navigating risks, dependencies, and changes to enable aligned and successful outcomes.
- Utilizing your digital experience, you will ensure digital solutions meet quality, UX, accessibility, and platform standards by validating feasibility and alignment with user and business needs, while enabling performance tracking through analytics and measurement.
- You will drive continuous improvement and scalable delivery practices while fostering a collaborative, adaptable, and high-performing team environment.
Desired education and skills
- Completion of post-secondary education in a relevant discipline from a recognized academic institution, preferably in Digital Media, Product, Technology, Marketing, Business or related field.
- Minimum 5 years' experience delivering initiatives within complex, cross-functional environments, with direct involvement in taking work from defined requirements through to launch.
- Proven experience using project management and collaboration tools (e.g. Monday.com, Basecamp, or similar) to manage workflows, track progress, and drive delivery across cross-functional teams.
- Strong understanding of how digital experiences are delivered across platforms (e.g. web, mobile, CMS-driven environments), including the interplay between UX, content, development and analytics.
- Experience leading or owning the execution of digital experience or product initiatives (e.g., websites, landing pages, authenticated experiences, mobile applications or digital features), including coordinating delivery across multiple teams.
- Experience working across disciplines such as EX/Design, content, development, analytics and/or marketing within digital environments.
- Experience working with external vendors or agency partners, including coordinating deliverables, timelines and quality of output.
- Experience working within agile, waterfall or hybrid delivery environments.
- Strong ability to translate defined requirements into structured, actionable delivery plans, including identifying dependencies, sequencing work and clarifying ownership across teams.
- Demonstrated ability to drive execution across cross-functional teams, proactively following up on deliverables, resolving blockers and maintaining momentum across multiple concurrent initiatives.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify gaps, inconsistencies or missing components in requirements or deliverables and take action to address them.
- Strong stakeholder communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate delivery plans, risks, dependencies and trade-offs to both technical and non-technical audiences.

What you can expect
- This role will work in a hybrid environment with requirements to be onsite at Canadian Blood Services location 40% of the time/days of the week.
- Shift/hours - Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week, 7.5 hours per day.
