About the role

Canadian Blood Services is looking for a Regular full-time Specialist, Digital Experience to join our dynamic Integrated Marketing team.

Reporting to the Manager, Digital Experience Delivery, the Specialist, Digital Experience is the person who makes our work real: turning strategies, designs and content into live, tested, tracked and accessible digital experiences that reach donors every day. This role owns the hands-on assembly and deployment of digital assets across CBS's public-facing channels, including blood.ca, campaign landing pages, donor email communications, the booking portal and related digital platforms.

This is not a design, strategy or product development role. The Specialist takes established outlines, approved content and existing design system components and brings them to life, building web pages in our CMS, assembling layouts in Figma from established blocks, setting up and deploying landing pages in Unbounce, and producing and sending email campaigns with precision and care. The role serves as a critical quality checkpoint across the digital production pipeline, ensuring that every asset that reaches a donor is accurate, accessible, on-brand and functioning as intended.

The ideal candidate thrives in a multi-tool, multi-platform environment and is energised and not intimidated by learning new systems. As CBS's digital ecosystem evolves, this person will be among the first to learn new platforms, write the first standard operating procedures and help the team transition with confidence.

Formula for success

  • Drawing from your knowledge or experience in email communications, you will be part of the team that owns end-to-end build and deployment of donor email communications:  assembling HTML emails from templates, testing across clients, validating before send and monitoring performance post-launch.
  • Leveraging your design skills, you will build and maintain pages across blood.ca and campaign properties using approved content and design system components, assemble layouts in Figma, and set up landing pages in Unbounce that are accessible, responsive and structured to perform.
  • You will act as the final checkpoint before anything goes live:  ensuring pages, emails, links, redirects and tracking are all working as expected.
  • Pulling from your technical skills, you will maintain clean tracking and tagging practices across assets, ensuring UTMs, GA4 events and conversion pixels are implemented correctly so data can be trusted.
  • You will document and systematize how work gets done: maintaining SOPs, checklists and organized templates so the team can move faster over time.
  • Channeling your analytical skills, you will be comfortable learning new tools, troubleshooting issues and helping the team adopt evolving platforms, while spotting opportunities to streamline repetitive work.
  • Utilizing your superior interpersonal and communication skills you will collaborate closely with internal partners to coordinate bilingual (English/French) assets, ensure consistency across versions, and contribute to a team culture grounded in ownership and continuous improvement.
