About the role
Canadian Blood Services is looking for a Temporary full-time Stem Cell Program Support to join our dynamic Stem Cells team.
In this role, the Stem Cell Program Support provides confidential coordination and support to Canadian Blood Services Stem Cell team as well as internal and external Stakeholders. This position contributes to the effective daily operation of the program by providing administrative support and driving initiatives to completion.
Formula for success
- Leveraging your interpersonal and communication skills, you will collaborate with functional areas to coordinate the design and implementation of training support for Stem Cell.
- Utilizing your superb administrative experience, you will support the Stem Cell Program by maintaining records/files as well as handling timekeeping, document control, travel expenses, invoices, purchase orders and resolve discrepancies and other administrative tasks as required.
- You will identify and act as a subject matter expert and participate in working groups to ensure continuous improvement.
- Work and communicate efficiently and professionally with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring confidentiality.
- Drawing from your critical thinking skills, you will propose innovations and improvements for the efficient and effective utilization of resources.
- You will support and assist billing coordinator.
Desired education and skills
- Completion of secondary education. Completion of post-secondary level education in a relevant discipline from a recognized academic institution in related field.
- Minimum three (3) years' office or administrative related experience.
- Technical skills including Microsoft Excel, and SharePoint. Experience with Word, PowerPoint, Visio, SAP and SCNSS is an asset.
- Experience with supporting research and medical services programs an asset.
- Very strong organization and time management skills.

- Shift/hours - Monday to Friday 7:00 to 15:00.
